Abstract: With the globalization of economy and trade, as well as concerns of food safety, the importance of Codex Alimentarius Committee (CAC) is increasing. In the developing countries, Codex India is operating quite successfully. In this paper, the organization, working mechanisms, sources of funding and the delegation management of Codex India, etc. were introduced, and some suggestions were put forward to CAC work of China．
