Abstract: Malus spectabilis is a kind of plants with great ornamental value of leaves， flowers and fruits. In this study， the ecological adaptability of twelve different kinds of Malus spectabilis has been evaluated by analyzing the abilities of heat resistance， diseases and insects\|resistance and drought resistance of them. The results indicated that the ecological adaptability of Red Jade， Snowdrift， Profusion， Flame， Dolgo， Donna were good， which could be widely used in landscape green construction in Beijing.
