Abstract: From the viewpoint of improving the external environment, this test explored the prevention effect of spraying Chinese herbal medicine in the pigpen on the diarrhea occurrence of early weanling piglets. Sixty\|four weanling piglets with 28 days of age were chosen, randomly divided into two groups: control group raised in conventional pigpens, and experimental group raised in the pigpen spraying Chinese herbal medicine at regular intervals. The results showed that diarrhea occurrence rate and feed conversion rate of experimental group were 4063 percentage points (P<005) and 85% (P<005) lower than those of control group, while daily gain and feed intake of experimental group was 135% (P<005) and 35% (P<005) higher than those of control group, respectively. This test showed that spraying Chinese herbal medicine in the pigpen at regular intervals could greatly reduce diarrhea occurrence rate and improve growth performance of early weaned piglets.
