Abstract: The data of typhoon that affect agricultural production and agricultural disaster information in 1949—2008 were statistically analyzed, and the chief climatic characters of typhoon and the variation tendency of each agricultural disaster and the possible impact of typhoon on the major crops in Zhejiang Province were discussed. Furthermore, combined with Zhejiang agricultural production practice, the technical measures though adjusting industrial structure, enhancing the ability to guard against disasters and mitigate their damages, were proposed to scientifically defend the impact of typhoon disaster in order to ensure high and stable yields of agricultural production, which provided a scientific basis for prevention of typhoon disasters．
