Abstract:

This paper used superefficiency DEA model and Malmquist index comprehensively to analyze the efficiency of the sixteen statelevel major grainproducing counties in Shaanxi Province from static and dynamic views. It was found that: judging from the whole, the total factor productivity had the fastest growth speed during 2007 to 2008; judging from each county, both the comprehensive efficiency of agricultural production and the total factor productivity of Wugong County were ahead of other counties; judging from the growth structure of total factor productivity, the growth of the total factor productivity of the sixteen counties was mainly from agricultural technology progress, neither from the improvement of technical efficiency nor scale efficiency during 2005 to 2009．
