Abstract: The dielectric properties of tea leaves were measured with precision TH2816B inductance capacitance resistance (LCR) meter over a temperature range of 20-60℃ and a frequency span of 10-200 kHz. The results showed that the relative dielectric constant decreased linearly with increasing frequency, but the dielectric loss factor decreased and then increased slightly. The relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss factor both increased with increasing temperature between 20℃ and 60℃ and moisture content (5.3%,7.6%, 10.2%, 13.8%, 16.0%, 20.0%, 25.0%) at given 200 kHz frequency.
