Abstract: To synthesize the molecular imprinted polymer (MIP) for clenbuterol and study the recognition property of the MIP, polymethylacrylic acid was grafted onto the surface of silica gel particles via the coupling effect of γ-Methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane, and the grafting particle was prepared. Then, the molecular imprinting towards the grafted particle was performed with clenbuterol as template molecule and ethylene glycol diglycidylether as crosslinking agent by using the surface-molecular imprinting technique established, and the clenbuterol molecule-imprinted material was prepared. The morphology of MIP was observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), and the chemical structure of MIP was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Static method was adopted to study the binding properties and molecule recognition character of MIP for clenbuterol. The experiment results showed that MIP had specific recognition selectivity, excellent binding affinity and elution property for clenbuterol.
