Abstract: Agricultural tourism exploitation is an effective way to balance urban and rural development. According to characteristics of agricultural tourism, natural landscape, resources and environment of Poyang Lake basin and the interactional relationship between target market and spatial structure in system, it is necessary to construct the sightseeing zones of migrants, experiencing zones of fishing in waters and wetland, farming culture zones in plain, leisure agriculture tourism areas of characteristic planting and breeding from basins to hills and complex agricultural tourist areas with the function of vocation, cognition, sightseeing and leisure on mountains. The measures of vertical agricultural tourism areas can realize harmonious developments among urban and rural management, industrial convergence, economy and ecology in Poyang Lake basin.
