Identification of Prunus necrotic ringspot virus from the rose samples in Haining，Zheijiang Province

Abstract

Abstract: A survey on Prunus necrotic ringspot virus disease of plants in Hangzhou，Shaoxing and Jiaxing areas was undertaken during 2007—2008．Total 102 samples oftwelve fruit and ornamental host plants including cherry，peach，plum，almond．and lose were collected for detection．The results showed that 10 of 14 rose samples from Haining county welo DASELISA positive．which was then comfmned by RT-PCR and sequencing of the CP gene．It Was concluded that these ten rose samples from Haining County，Zhejiang Province，were infected by Prunus necrotic ringspot virus.
