Abstract: Bamboo soda pulping waste water produces a great quantity of solid waste in the process of acidification. The main component of the solid waste is lignin.Agricultural udlization of the solid waste was conducted in the lab and pot eX—
periments. The results showed that rock phosphate could efectively neutralize the free acid in the solid waste to,enhance the pH to a suitable level f0r tl1e agrieultu~ use.Rock phosphate and solid waste should be mixed at the ratio of 1:1 and the mixture should be stored more than 4 d to reach the highest activating efficiency.Further study showed that phosphorous in rock phosphate was predominantly activated by free acid. The result of pot experiment indicated that the nutritional effect of the mixture of solid waste and rock phosphate on the growth of radish(Raphanus sativus L.)and Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis L.)was between rock phosphate and calcium magnesium phosphate.
