Abstract: Aluminum toxicity is the most important factor for limiting cmp growth in acid soils and one of important reasons of forest degeneration．This paper reviews symptoms an d positions of aluminum toxicity of plants，the mechanisms of aluminum toxicity and resistance of plants，identification of aluminum-resistance plants；selection and breeding of aluminum-resistance plants．
