Abstract: This paper evaluated land fertility in grain functional zone in municipal districts of Ningbo. The results showed that the land fertility in grain functional zone was good. The first and second grade farmland accounted for 86% and 14% of the total investigation area， respectively. But there also existed that the content of soil available phosphorus was not balanced and the soil was acid， or the soil total water-soluble salt was high， or the soil texture was partial sticky in parts of the field. According to the status of its soil fertility， some suggestions on fertilization and amelioration were put forward with pertinency， in order to provide reference for guaranteeing the grain production safety effectively.
