Abstract: It is very useful to simulate the growth process of oilseed rape, which is one of the most important cash crops in the world. But there were few architecture rape models because of the complexity of blades. In this study, the rapeseed cultivars Zheyou50 and Zheyou18, which were broadly planted in Zhejiang province, were used to be digitized. The plants were simulated and the blade area was calculated and analyzed. The methods can be used to build other plant models and the results would be used to build the population growth model of oilseed rape.
