Abstract: The urban-rural relationship was the most important relationship in the development of humanity economic society. Zhejiang was a pioneer in China's market-oriented rural reform，and it was also a model in the reform and exploration of the coordination construction between the urban and rural areas. On the basis of analyzing and appraising Zhejiang’s great achievements in the coordination construction between the urban and rural areas and the new rural construction，the experience in the process was summarized. The farmers were encouraged to actively find out jobs and employ themselves in the process of urban-rural interaction. The income of farmers were increased in the process of industrial structure adjustment in urban and rural arrangement and the reform of distribution system. The appearance of villages and the new community construction were promoted in the process of town planning and regulative construction predominated by governments. The problems of people's livelihood could be solved by strengthening the basic and public service in countryside. The new rural construction could be promoted in the process of establishing the co-construction mechanism with the leading of party and government and the comprehensive involvement of farmers and society. It was necessary to cultivate the pioneer for the new rural construction，in order to promote the construction of harmony society.
