Abstract: Through measuring the amounts and analyzing the components of feces of heifers and cows in the intensive dairy farm in four seasons, the organic matter pollutants producing coefficient (PPC) were calculated and compared between heifer and cow in all seasons. The results showed that the organic matter PPC of the heifer was 1 966.18 g·head-1·d-1, that of the cow was 3 688.74 g·head-1·d-1 in the intensive cow farm in the fourth season, the organic matter PPC of cow was much higher than that of heifer.

Key words: intensive cow farm, PPC, organic matter, environmental pollution
