Abstract: The etiology of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome was investigated in some farms in Jinhua. The results showed that the disease incidence of the partial pig farms was up to 43.5% and the mortality rate was up to 89.29%. The mortality rate of piglets reached almost 100%. The dead pigs were dissected and the corresponding lesions were collected, and Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV) was detected and identified with PCR method. Meanwhile, the samples were also identified by porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) in the PCR detection and found there existed mixed infection．
