Abstract

Abstract: During the period from 2008 to 2010, identification of disease resistance of common, sweet and waxy maize varieties (lines) to maize rough dwarf disease (MRDV) was studied. The results showed that the resistance to MRDV was significantly different in varieties and years. 30 Varieties test were done in Jining, Wenling and Dongyang in 2010, the results showed that maize resistance to MRDV was significantly different in regions, but not significantly different in maize types. The sweet maize variety Nongtian 3 was much more tolerant to MRDV than other varieties.
