    Studies on developmental genetic mechanisms for glycine content of rapeseed meal (Brassic napus L.) in different enviroments

    Both conditional and unconditional analysis methods were applied to estimate the genetic main effects and the genotype × environment (GE) interaction effects of embryo(cotyledon), cytoplasm and maternal plant at different developmental periods after anthesis on glycine content (GC) of rapeseed meal using two-year experimental data. The results showed that glysine content in rapeseed meal was simultaneously controlled by the genetic main effects and their GE interaction effects from different genetic systems, especially for the GE interaction effects. Therefore, the expression of genes conferring GC in the different genetic systems could be significantly influenced by the environment. Except for the embryo effects at 36 day after flowering was larger among the different genetic components, both maternal dominance effects and maternal additive interaction effect were more visible. The conditional statistical analysis revealed that the new expression of quantitative genes on GC trait was active both at early and medium-term of rapeseed development stages, especially at medium\|term stage the net genetic effects on glysine content reached a relatively higher value, due to a lager number of polygenes actively expressed. The total narrow sense heritability of GC was high, of which the maternal and cytoplasmic heritability were important during rapeseed development. It was suggested that GC could be efficiently improved when selection is based on the holistic performance of mature maternal plants at early generations.

    Correlation and grey relational analysis of main agronomic traits and malting quality traits of barley

    The relationships between eight agronomic traits and six malting quality traits of eight barley cultivars were analyzed by the correlation analysis and gray relational analysis. For plot yield, the highest association with barley yield was 1 000-seed weight, followed by ear bearing tiller and setting rate. And the correlation between plot yield and 1 000-seed weight was highly significant. The association degree between growth period and plot yield was the lowest. The association degree between malting quality and amino\|nitrogen was the highest, which was significantly positive. And the association degree between malting quality and malt extract was the lowest.

We not only acquired a series of progress and successful experiences, but also put forward to some methods and countermeasures of sustaining and steady development of barley industry, and these will facilitate the development of Chinese barley industry.

    The effects of nitrogen forms on different flue-cured tobacco seedling roots, leaf soluble protein and associated enzyme activities were studied in different genotypes of flue-cured tobacco K326, Zhongyan 90 (ZY90) and Jingyehuang (JYH). The results showed that in different NO-3-N and NH4 +-N treatments, nitrate reductase (NR) activity in JYH leaves was higher than the other two genotypes, and NR activity in ZY90 roots was higher, furthermore, NR activity in NH4 +-N treatments was higher than in NO-3-N treatments. Glutamine synthetase (GS) activity in K326 leaves and roots were higher than the other two genotypes, and GS activity in root was much larger than in leaves. GS activity in leaves in NH4 +-N treatment was lower than NO3 --N treatment level,and GS activity in roots in NH4 +-N treatment was higher than NO3 --N treatment. Soluble protein content in JYH leaves and in ZY90 roots were the highest. There was no positive correlation between NR, GS activity and nitrogen levels.

    In this study, a recombinant inbred population consisting of 178 lines, derived from the cross of a japonica (D50) and an indica (HB277) were used to investigate its genetic diversity. We have constructed a genetic linkage map with 104 SSR markers, which covered 1 323 cM genetic distance of rice genome and 11.6 cM average genetic distance between each marker. And then, we have discovered 10 out of 28 starch synthesis-related genes can amplify stable polymorphism among 178 plants, after added them into linkage map, eighteen QTLs were discovered. At last, SPSS statistical software was used to explain the interrelationship between starch synthesis-related genes and cooking and eating quality, and the results were mainly the same as QTL's.

    Effects of seed maturity on seed weight and oil content in Brassica napus

    A doubled haploid (DH) population (282 lines) derived from a cross between a German cultivar ‘Sollux’ and a Chinese inbred line ‘Gaoyou’ was used to investigate the effect of seed maturity on 1000-seed weight and oil content of rapeseed from 2007 to 2008. Seed samples were collected twice in 7-day intervals, when early and later maturity lines entered yellow ripening stage( on 19th May and 26th May), respectively. According to the early flowering seage, all 282 DH lines were divided into four groups. Seed weight and oil content were analyzed and compared between two sampling times and among four groups, and correlations between 1000-seed weight, oil content and early flowering seage were calculated. The results showed that: (1) Harvesting rapeseeds one week later or before physiological maturity stage (yellow pods) could result in 0.198 g and 0.162 g decrease in 1000-seeds weight which were equivalent to a significant loss of yield up to 5% (P=0.027) and 4% (P=0.001) respectively; (2) No significant difference in seed oil content between two harvest time were observed for all four groups, showing that seeds maturity was less influence on oil content than 1000 seeds weight; (3) a significant negative correlation (r=-0.643) between 1000-seed weight and the initial flowering time was identified. It will lead to a markedly reduction in 1000-seed weight if there are more than 4 days differences in flowering date under the cultivation environment of Haining in Zhejiang Province.

    Identification of variation of hulless barley in different ecological regions by SSR markers

    Variation of hulless barley cultivars in different ecological regions were identified by SSR markers. Twenty-five materials from 5 different ecological regions including Xining, Lhasa, Hezuo, Maerkang, Shangri-La, five cultivars (Kunlun No.12, Zangqing 25, Ganqing No.5, Ahqing No.6, Kangqing No.7) were selected in the experiment. The results showed that different cultivars showed different genetic variation rates in which Zangqing 25 showed the highest variation rate (0.264), while Gangqing No.5 showed the lowest variation rate (0.040). At the same time different ecological regions had different variation rates, in which Shangri-La's variation rate was the highest (0.144), while in Hezuo, the variation rate reached the lowest (0.064). Changes in environment led to different variation behaviors. Zangqing 25 was the most sensitive to environmental changes. In Hezuo, hulless barley had the lowest variation rate because of its good growing conditions, while complex environment led to the highest variation rate in Shangri-La.

    The genetic diversity among different provenances was analyzed by ISSR molecular marker in order to prove relationship among 7 provenances of Dendrocalamopsis oldhami. The results showed that 20 effective primers were screened out from 30 ISSR primers, which amplified a total of 273 sites, among of which 176 sites showed polymorphism, accounted for 64.5% of the total. Cluster analysis showed 7 provenances of Dendrocalamopsis oldhami were divided into 3 groups, genetic distance of different provenances was 0.015-0.465. Genetic relationship of cultivated species of Dendrocalamopsis oldhami was closer, and the countries of origin of Dendrocalamopsis oldhami(Munro)Keng f. from. striata Y.Y.Wang et W.Y.Zhang and Dendrocalamopsis oldhami(Munro)Keng f. f. revolute (W.T.Lin et J.Y.Lin)W.T.Lin were Ruian and Cangnan.

    The efficiency of germplasm resources in use has been improved greatly by establishing a core collection. In this study, 118 accessions were selected from 1 142 barely accessions as a core collection, which accounted for 10.33% of the overall resources. By different statistical methods such as comparison of mean using t-test, variance using F-test, phenotypic frequency distributions using χ2-test for the different traits, the core collection was validated to be a representative sample of the entire collection. Furthermore, the core collection among the individual showed greater variation and genetic diversity by comparison of Shannon\|weavers information index and Simpson information index between the primary core collection and the entire collection.

    Anhydride is capable of binding to and forming lysine polymer with DNA polymerase.Upon such modification, catalytic activity of Taq DNA polymerase is completely abolished during the preheating stage of PCR, thus minimizing non-specific amplifications and the formation of primer dimmers which interfere with efficient PCR amplification. Once exposed at high temperature for a while, such as 94℃ for 15min, anhydride could be removed from polymerase, resulting in almost full recovery of its catalytic activity, thus achieving hot-start PCR. Here in this paper, we chose an appropriate sort of anhydride to modify Taq DNA polymerase. We found that using such modified polymerase, sensitivity of PCR could be greatly improved by two orders of magnitude and 10 copies of the DNA molecule is now achievable for detection. In addition, the course of such modification was easy to handle and less cost. Moreover, modified polymerase was more stable, easy to store and show higher sensitivity and specificity. Therefore, the establishment of hot-start PCR system through chemical modification became one of the most crucial approaches to elevate the sensitivity and specificity for PCR, and was of great application value in the near future.

    To construct adenoviral vector co-expressing G and N gene of rabies virus by utilizing an internal ribosome entry site (IRES) sequences to link the two genes, the G and N gene of rabies virus were obtained by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The IRES\|N gene fragment was obtained by subcloning N gene into pIRES vector, then subcloned G and IRES-N into shuttle plasmid pAdTrack-CMV. The recombinant transfer vector linearized with Pme I digestion and pAdEasy-1 backbone vector was further cotransformed into the bacteria BJ5183 competent cells for homologous recombination. The resultant homologous recombinant plasmids were linearized with Pac I digestion and transfected into 293 cells to pack the adenovirus. Strong green fluorescence was observed by fluorescence microscope. The glycoprotein and nucleoprotein genes fragments of rabies virus could be detected in the recombinant adenovirus by RT-PCR. The results showed that the recombinant adenovirus containing G gene and N gene was successfully constructed and obtained, thus providing a basis for the research of recombinant replication\|defective adenovirus based rabies virus vaccine.

    In order to construct efficient porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) DNA vaccines and carrying HSP70 gene which can be used as an adjuvant enhancing immune function, we constructed the fusion expression vector PCI-ORF5-ORF6A and PCI-ORF5-ORF6B-HSP70 which comprehended PRRSV ORF5 and ORF6 genes. The two kinds of fusion expression vectors were transfected Cos-7 cells. IFA results showed that the two fusion expression vector in Cos-7 cells could express and western blot test confirmed that the specific bands about 42.7 Ku and 112.2 Ku could be found from transfection of plasmid pCI-ORF5-ORF6A and pCI-ORF5-ORF6B-Hsp70. It showed that the recombinant plasmid in Cos-7 cells were efficiently transcribed and expressed, and the expression of the protein was immunogenic.

    Experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of lactic acid on the performance, intestinal E.coli and lactobacillus of piglets. 144 Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire piglets were divided into 3 groups randomly, the control(basal diet), basal+3 g·kg-1 lactic acidifier and basal+6 g·kg-1 lactic acidifier. The growth performance, the number of E. coli and lactobacillus in ileum, caecal and colon contents, the number of lactobacillus adhere to ileum and colon mucosa were determined. The results showed that the average daily weight gain of piglets increased with lactic acidifier supplement; after 14 d, the number of E. coli in ileum, caecal and colon contents decreased; the number of lactobacillus in ileum, caecal and colon contents increased with the lactic acid supplement; the number of lactobacillus adhered to the ileum and colon mucosa increased with the lactic acid supplement. The results suggested the addition of lactic acidifier decreased the intestinal harmful bacteria, increased the probiotics and promoted the growth performance of piglets.

The titer of library was 1.6 × 106 cfu, the inserted cDNA fragment's length were between 500-2 250 bp, the recombination rate was 93.75%. The results showed that this library was good enough to be applied for the next step.

    Feeding effect of perilla seed extracts added in formula feed on growing-finishing pigs (Yordshire ×Landrace ×Duroc, 20~90 kg) was investigated by the single factor test. The additive amount of perilla seed extracts were 150, 250 and 350 g·t-1. The results indicated that growth and fattening, meat quality and immunity of pigs were promoted to a certain extent with the perilla seed extracts addition amount of 250 and 350 g·t-1, but there was no significant difference among each group(P>0.05).

    Cloning and Real\|time Expression Analysis of GLO Gene from Cymbidium goeringii

    In this study, a novel GLO gene was isolated from Cymbidium goeringii by RT-PCR and RACE-PCR techniques. Sequence analysis showed the gene contained an open reading frame of 630 bp encoding a putative protein of 210 amino acids. Homology analysis showed that the deduced protein showed high identity with other PI/GLO proteins from different species, named CgGLO (GenBank accession number HM106984). Phylogenetic tree analysis also indicated that the B-functional gene CgGLO belongs to PI/GLO clade of MADS-box gene family. Real-time quantitative PCR demonstrated that CgGLO was strongly expressed in 2 whorls organ, i.e. lips and petals, much lower in ovary, leaves and sepals, and lowest in root and columns. It supported the modified ABC model by van Tunen. These results also displayed that CgGLO might regulate the floral organ identity and ovary development of C. goeringii.

    In order to investigate the molecular mechanism of Vc accumulation, 661 bp cDNA encoding L-galactono-1,4-lacton dehydrognease (GalLDH) fragment was cloned from fruit of Actinidia eriantha by the method of RT-PCR, and then translated into amino acid sequences. In GenBank, compared with Actinidia delicisa, the amino acid sequence of GalLDH gene sequence showed 99% identity with those of Actinidia delicisa and they were both classified in the same family. The amino acid sequence of GalLDH gene sequence showed 91% identity with Vitis vinifera and more than 80% identity with Fragaria xananassa, Rosa roxburghii, Ipomoea batatas, citrur unshiu, Arabidopsis thaliana and Cucumis melo. These results suggested that the cDNA fragment cloned in this stady was from GalLDH gene of Actinidia eriantha.

    Effect of culture condition on pollen germination of kiwifruit

    The factors influencing pollen germination and tube length of kiwi in vitro were reported, including-different culture time, pH values, culture medium and culture temperature. The results showed that the most suitable culture medium for pollen germination and tube growth was 10% sucrose+100 mg·L-1 boric acid+10 mg·L-1 Ca(NO3)2.The suitable culture time was 5 hours, the best temperature for pollen germination and growth was 30℃ and the suitable pH value of culture medium was 6.0.

    Comprehensive evaluation of drought resistance of four cherry rootstocks by membership function analysis

    Aimed to screen the drought\|endurable rootstocks, using pot experiments, different rootstocks (Benxishanying, Laiyangaiying, Daqingye and Colt) grafted with sweet cherry (Prunus avium L.) were analyzed for the physiological responds to drought stress. With the increasing level of drought stress and prolonging of duration time, the content of H2O2 and O-2 of four rootstocks showed a straight increase trend, meanwhile, significant increases were also observed in the contents of proline and the permeability of plasma membrane. However, the increases of those indexes greatly differed among the four grafted seedlings with different rootstocks, the biggest increase was observed in the seedling grafted on Colt rootstock and the smallest increase occurred in the seedlings grafted on Benxishanying rootstock. The changes of praline content showed opposite trends. A comprehensive evaluation on drought resistance was given based on membership function analysis. The results indicated that the order of drought resistance from high to low was Benxishanying, Laiyangaiying, Daqingye and Colt.

    Effects of exogenous nitric oxide on plant growth, membrane lipid peroxidation and photosynthesis in cucumber seedling leaves under low temperature

    The study was conducted to investigate the effect of exogenous nitric oxide on growth of cucumber seedlings, membrane lipid peroxidation and photosynthesis under low temperature conditions of 9℃/9℃ (day /night). The results showed that the growth of cucumber seedlings was significantly restrained under low temperature. Accompanying the great decreases in dry weight, fresh weight, chlorophyll content and net photosynthesis rate, the membrane permeability and content of MDA markedly increased in low temperature treatment. However, spraying of 100 μmol·L-1 SNP, a donor of nitric oxide, to surface of leaves significantly alleviated the injuries from low temperature, the decrease of chlorophyll content and net photosynthesis rate as well as the increase of membrane permeability and content of MDA were also significantly alleviated as compared to the non-SNP-treated counterpart. There were no obvious effects of exogenous nitric oxide on seedlings under normal temperature conditions.

    PCR was conducted with Prunus S-RNase-gene-specific primers using genome templates of Tongxiang Zui Li and 4 pollination varieties. Two target bands (about 300 bp and 500 bp, respectively) were amplified in Zui Li, only one band (about 300 bp) was amplified in each of the 4 varieties. These fragments were cloned and sequenced and two types of S-RNase-genes were identified. The longer band in Zui Li was corresponding to S-h, and the other one was corresponding to S-7. The bands in other varieties were all corresponding to S-7. There was no significant difference in the fruit setting percentage between Zui Li self\|pollination and hybridizations with related pollination varieties.

    To understand the effects of gummy stem blight on retardation of early-senescence of muskmelon, dynamic changes of activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POD), the contents of chlorophyll (Chl) and soluble protein (Pr) in Xiami and Yugu on different nods were analyzed after inoculation by Didymella bryoniae. The results showed that, SOD and CAT activities rapidly increased after inoculated 1 day (d), and then reduced, the SOD and CAT activities were higher in xiami than in Yugu. The POD activities increased with the leaf age until the physiological function of muskmelon leaves lost, and the POD activities of xiami were weaker than Yugu. The contents of Chl and soluble Pr decreased quickly, which decreased more quickly in Yugu than in xiami. Leaves of different nods showed different premature senescence degree after inoculation and the low nods of leaves were strongly affected by gummy stem blight.

    A silicate bacterium K03 isolated from flue-cured tobacco rhizosphere was identified by morphologic characteristic, physiological and biochemical reaction, and phylogenetic tree based on 16S rDNA sequences. The results showed that this silicate bacterium belong to Enterobacter, may be Enterobacter asburiae. Silicate bacterium fertilizer preparaed using K03 was applied at a rate of 30 kg·hm-2 with minus 20% K dosage of full fertilizer when flue-cured tobacco was transplanted in plots. The numbers of rhizobacteria and rhizo-silicate bacteria significantly increased during the whole growth period, while the number of rhizoactinomycetes during the whole growth period and the number of rhizofungi at budding stage significantly decreased, compared to the control which was treated by 100% K of the recommended doses for tobacco. It indicated that the dominant microbial flora in tobacco rhizosphere altered to bacteria and silicate bacteria. The availability of mineral elements P, K, Ca, Cu, Zn, Fe and Mn, except Mg, in tobacco rhizosphere in tobacco topping stage were higher than that of the control, especially the availability of K was 27.08% higher than the control. The yield and production value of tobacco leaves were 7.38% and 5.47% higher than the control. The results suggested that silicate bacteria fertilizer reduced application rates of chemical K fertilizers, which could be an efficient way to produce high-quality and pollution-free tobacco leaves sustainably.

    Molecularly imprinted polymeric microspheres(MIPMs) was prepared by suspension polymerization using methacrylic acid as the functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as the cross-linking and 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) as template molecule. The polymerization formula was optimized by orthogonal experiment and UV method was used to study the performance of the polymers. The results showed that MIPMs have better adsorption properties and select properties compare to references.

    With the rapid economic development, the number of life rubbish in villages was ever-growing, the garbage components became complicated, and garbage problem has already turned into the most urgent environmental problems. Using thermal analytical methods,the combustion characteristics of village solid waste mixed with biomass in certain proportions were experimentally studied. Meanwhile, we observed the hydrogen chloride release behavior through the ion chromatography and FT-IR. The result showed that the best temperature range of hydrogen chloride emission was 550-650℃, and the optimum atmosphere was air.

    The antifungal activity of Vetiveria zizanioides extract against five plant pathogenic fungi was determined by mycelium growth rate method. The results showed that the petroleum ether (PE)-soluble fraction and EtOAc-soluble fraction had inhibitory activity against Rhizoctonia solani, Colletotrichum musae, Alternaria solani, Fusarium oxysporium, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, with the EC50 values of 1.844 and 3.470 mg·mL-1 against Rhizoctonia solani, respectively. The outdoor pot-cultivation test showed that petroleum ether-soluble fraction exhibited significant inhibition activity at concentration of 0.025 g·mL-1, and the protective and curative control efficacies were 66.70% and 14.16% respectively. The research is benefit for the control of plant disease and the development of plant germicides.

    During the period from 2008 to 2010, identification of disease resistance of common, sweet and waxy maize varieties (lines) to maize rough dwarf disease (MRDV) was studied. The results showed that the resistance to MRDV was significantly different in varieties and years. 30 Varieties test were done in Jining, Wenling and Dongyang in 2010, the results showed that maize resistance to MRDV was significantly different in regions, but not significantly different in maize types. The sweet maize variety Nongtian 3 was much more tolerant to MRDV than other varieties.

    Based on conventional assays of mycotoxins, we have established a new rapid detection method for four kinds of mycotoxins using immune purification step and fluorescence(or HPLC) inspection technology. The new method was applied to agricultural products(cereals and oils) in the markets of Hangzhou for mycotoxins inspection and safety evaluation. There were 28 samples for total aflatoxin and aflatoxin B investigation, and the aflatoxin detection rate was about 25.0%; 48 samples were determined for ochratoxin A and the detection rate was 22.9%; 49 samples were determined for zearalenone and the detection rate was 42.9%; 39 samples were determined for deoxynivalenol and the detection rate was 15.4%. The average detection rate of the four kinds of mycotoxin was about 30%. Mycotoxin safety evaluation showed that the MRL(Maximum Residue Limit) exceeding ratio of aflatoxin and zearalenone were higher than the other two mycotoxins, and the safety level of deoxynivalenol was higher than the other three mycotoxins in Hangzhou agricultural product markets. Overall, there were widespread contaminations of cereal and oil agricultural products by mycotoxins in Hangzhou and some types of mycotoxins exceeded far beyond the MRL. Much effort should be placed to the regulation of mycotoxins safety of the cereal and oil products.

    Citrus paradisi is a special citrus crossbreed in Zhejiang Province. The fruit is nutritious with unique taste and resistant storage, which is fit for processing. Fermentation technology of Citrus Paradisi vinegar was investigated. Small fruits with moderate juice ratio were selected as raw material, and alcohol and acetic acid contents were monitored by gas chromatography. Wine yeast from Angel Yeast Company and A. pasteurianus HY05 from naturally fermented Citrus Paradisi vinegar was applied in alcohol fermentation and acetic acid fermentation, respectively. The suitable culture temperature of alcohol fermentation was 28℃, and the time was 72 h. The shallow liquid fermentation type was selected in acetic acid fermentation, and the depth of the culture system was determined as 3 cm. The suitable culture temperature of acetic acid fermentation was 30℃, and the time was 72 h. The fermentation liquor was filtered, then aged without light under 20℃ for 25 d, filtered, filled and pasteurized, and the Citrus Paradisi vinegar was finally obtained. It has typical aroma and flavor characteristics of Citrus Paradisi and vinegar.

    Rice kernile smut is a kind of common disease which is caused by Neovossia horrida which belongs to Neovossia Kornicke genera, Basidiomycete ascomycotina subdivision. The main factors of affecting teliospore germination were investigated and the medium suitable for sporulation was screened in this article so that rice kernile smut can be prevented better. We set up different parameters in this research, for example, temperature, humidity, illumination time and pH value, and observed the influence of these different parameters on the germination of teliospore so that we could find out the most appropriate conditions that the teliospore of N. horrida could germinate. The results indicated that the optimal conditions of teliospore germination of N. horrida including appropriate temperature, adequate water etc. The light and dark interval for 12 hours was favorable for the germination of teliospores. The pH value equaling to seven and adequate water were optimal conditions for the teliospore germination. Meanwhile, the morphological characteristics and germination process of N. horrida were observed and described in this article. In addition, the suitable medium of sporulation was screened in order to establish artificial inoculation system of rice kernel smut and study the interaction between N. horrida and rice. We selected seven kinds of liquid media such as bran medium and investigated the sporulation effect of them. The results showed that the bran medium was the optimal liquid medium for production of the secondary sporidia of N. horrida. We found out the optimal condition under which the teliospore of N. horrida could germinate and screened the bran medium as the sporulation medium of N. horrida.

    The paper is aimed to check anti-UVR and anti-oxidant ability of natural sun-screen compounds, the main contents is mycosporine-like amino acids (MAAs), which was extracted from Porphyra haitanensis by 80%, 90%,100% methanol, respectively. The results showed that 80% methanol was the best concentration for extracting MAAs in Porphyra haitanensis. The extracted compounds had the potent UV shield ability because of obvious absorption peak under UVR waveband (280-400 nm). For analyzing the sun block results, the compounds were mixed into the anti-sun lotion (Zirantang, SPF=18) according to the ratio (mg∶mg) of 1∶5, 1∶10, 1∶20 and 1∶30 respectively and then we calculated the sun protection factor (SPF). The data showed these compounds improved the anti-UVR ability of anti-sun lotion very well. The SPF was 22 (1∶30), 43 (1∶20), 87 (1∶10) and 114 (1∶5), respectively. These compounds also had the ability to eliminate reactive oxygen species, 12.82% of DPPH and 0.58% of hydroxyl radical can be cleared up by these compounds. The data in our paper showed the compounds extracted from Porphyra haitanensis can be used for sun-screen cosmetic.

    The optimal modification condition of wheat bran was optimized by single factor test and response surface method. The effects of ultra-high pressure, processing time, ratio of solid to liquid on the response of the holding water capacity(WHC), swelling capacity(SC), soluble dietary fiber content(SDF%) of wheat bran were studied. The regression equations of WHC, SC and SDF% were built by response surface analysis method. The optimum process parameters were obtained as follows: the ultra\|high pressure was 400 Mpa, processing time was 20 min, ratio of solid to liquid was 18:100, and the response values were 3.08 g·g-1, 1.49 v·g-1, 3.12%, respectively.

    The USA and China are important agricultural trade partners, but trade friction occured frequently between the two countries. We discussed trade diversion effect in the case of USA-to-China antidumping by dynamic panel data. There was significant evidence of trade diversion effect which indicated the named China commodity was substituted with import from the third country unnamed. Therefore, the welfare of antidumping initiator was much lower than its expectation. In case trade diversion was considered, initiator should seek trade remedy like antidumping with weak intension. The conclusion was meaningful for agricultural trade between the USA and China.

    Hypocrellin has wide application prospects in the fields of medicine, food and chemical industry. The preparation method of economical and efficient is the basis of its industrialization. Single factor test method was employed in the study for extraction of hypocrellin from the solid fermentation substrate by microwave-assisting. The results showed that the absolute ethyl alcohol was the appropriate solvent, and the productivity of hypocrellin was up to 0.1% in the optimized condition of reaction temperature 50℃, extraction time 7 min, microwave power 600 W, ratio between solvent and substrate 1∶75. Microwave was a remarkable and economical mean in the extraction of hypocrellin from solid fermentation substrate.

    The incidence of disease and insect stresses in rice panicles at the late growth stage had a negative impact on normal growth of panicles. Discrimination of health conditions in stressed rice panicles from healthy ones was the basis of plant protection measurements and yield assessment. Five kinds of health condition in rice panicles were classified in the study: no infection, light and moderate infection caused by rice glume blight disease, serious infection caused by rice false smut disease, and white headed panicle caused by either the stem borers Chilo suppressalis or rice panicle blast. The wavelength range of hyperspectral reflectance of rice panicles was measured from 350 to 2 500 nm with a portable spectroradiometer in laboratory conditions. The spectral response characteristics of rice panicles were investigated, and principal component analysis (PCA) was performed to obtain the principal components (PCs) derived from different transforming spectra, namely raw (R), inverse logarithmic (Ln 1/R), first, and second derivative reflectance (FDR and SDR). PCs was input into the learning vector quantization (LVQ) neural network classifier as the input vectors to classify healthy, light, moderate, and serious infection levels and white headed panicles. Classification accuracy was evaluated using overall accuracy and Kappa coefficient. The overall accuracies of LVQ with PCA derived from R, Ln 1/R, FDR and SDR for the validation dataset were 75.3%, 74.7%, 91.6% and 100% respectively, and the corresponding Kappa coefficients were 0.689, 0.682, 0.895 and 1.000. The results demonstrated that it is feasible to discriminate different health conditions of rice panicles under laboratory conditions using hyperspectral remote sensing.

The importance of major marine industries in the economic development was described; it also identified problems that existed in the marine economic development; meanwhile, it presented the measures and recommendations to solve these problems which based on the above situations. Therefore, we can affirm Shanghai ocean strategic areas of economic development options.
