Design of a small portable wind/pv hybrid controller

Abstract:

The city possesses abundant wind and solar energy resources. In order to facilitate and effectively utilize the solar and wind power of the city. Based on the 60 W wind/pv hybrid generation system, a new small portable wind/pv hybrid controller was designed to transform dispersed energy into electric energy stored in the battery. In this paper, 89C51 microcontroller was used as the intelligent control core to manage and control the wind/pv hybrid system, and the intelligent battery charging was achieved through a timer producing a highfrequency PWM. Meanwhile, using the matlab software, the experiment simulated the 60W wind/pv hybrid system and the experimental data proved the correctness of the parameter of the hardware system and security and reliability of the whole power system.
