Abstract: Aerobic composting was carried out with 3 different volume ratios of sewage sludge, pig manure and sawdust. The results showed that three treatments all can realize harmlessness, minimization and recycling. According to the pile temperature, pH and moisture content, former 16 d was the fast reaction stage, and after that was rotten stage. The results of total nitrogen and germination index showed that nitrogen loss of pile C was the least with the volume ratio of sewage sludge, pig manure and sawdust as 55%∶22.5%∶22.5%, and the rotten degree of pile C was the highest in three piles．
