Abstract: The difference in herbicidal activity of soil treatment herbicides in different types of soils was determined by greenhouse test. The results showed that the herbicidal activity had significant difference in 12 kinds of test soil. The influence trend was different in every parameter of soils. There was negative correlation trend between organic matter content and all test herbicides. The soil texture had appreciable impact on the activity of pretilachlor， bensulfuron-methyl， thiobencarb and diuron. Thiobencarb had low activity in sandy soil， but pretilachlor， bensulfuron-methyl and diuron were opposite. The soil pH and the activity of sulfentrazone had positive correlation trend. The CEC（cation exchange capacity）of soil had negative correlation trend for flumioxazin and diuron.
