Abstract: Non-destructive, rapid and accurate monitoring of nitrogen nutrition of rice leaf at spikingstage is significant in estimating crop reproductive growth, enhancing nitrogen management and use efficiency. In this study, the field experiments were carried out and the hyperspectral data of rice canopy was acquired at the same time by the unmanned aerial vehicle. The relationship between nitrogen content and hyperspectral data was analyzed. The result showed that the leaf nitrogen content at tillering stage had good correlation with the normalized differential vegetation index. The regression model can be established.
