Abstract: Foliar spraying with organic selenium on Astragalus sinicus was carried out on the 20 d and 10 d before the period of turning green. The results showed that the selenium content in young shoot of Astragalus sinicus was significantly improved after foliar spraying, moreover, the yield of young shoot also increased. It indicated that the planting benefit of Astragalus sinicus could increase in the production of selenium-enriched young shoot. Furthermore, the optimal amount of organic selenium was 6.75-8.10 kg·hm-2．
