Abstract: In the optimal growth season for tea growth, twice applications of 0.0016% propionyl brassinolide AS significantly promote the growth of tea, with tea production increasing by 5.43%-20.52%. Within the selected concentration range, the production increased with the increasing concentration of applied AS. Through biochemical analysis, we found that 0.0016% propionyl brassinolide AS can affect the amino acid, polyphenols and the formation of water extract and reduce phenol ammonia ratio, thereby improving the quality and nutritional value of tea.
