Abstract

Abstract: In this research，carbonitrides and mineral elements of flue-cured tobacco produced from Junlian，Xingwen，Gongxian，Pingshan were analyzed by employing different statistic methods. The data indicated that nitrogen compounds and mineral elements，such as potassium，zinc and iron in different parts of flue-cured tobacco were significantly different while carbohydrate and mineral elements like chlorine，sulfur and phosphorus were not significantly different. The level of total sugar，reducing sugar，nicotine and potassium varied greatly from year to year. The chemical elements in tobacco varied considerably in different regions.
