Abstract

Abstract: Traceability of genetically modified food is an important part in food safety. EU had established the management framework of genetically modified food traceability by regulation （EC） NO 1830/2003，and further regulated it by regulation （EC）1829/2003 in managing authorisation and supervision，and labelling of genetically modified food. Moreover，regulation （EC） 65/2004 established a system of unique identifiers for genetically modified food. The genetically modified food traceability reflected the management conception of “from farm to table” in EU. This article introduced the management framework of EU genetically modified food traceability，which was worth using for reference in China.
