Abstract: An inactivated vaccine with microeapsule shape against fowl cholera was prepared by drying in liquid，and the shape ，distribution of particle size，entrapment eficiency and capability of slow release of the microcapsule were studied．The experiment indicated that the microcapsule were spherical，and distribution of particle size was about 10—80 μm，entrapment efficiency was over 8O％, accumulated release rate was 43．95％ when releasing for 72 h in vitro．Because of its high entrapment efficiency，good capability of slow release，good repeatability and simple process of manufacture，the vaccine can be applied to industrial production．
