Abstract: Based on the panel data of eleven cities in Zhejiang province from 1990 to 2005，a model was established for calculation of agricultural technological progress by applying the Translog Production Function，taking account of both partial technological progress and neutral technological progress．The results demonstrated that agriculture development has been in all expanding reproduction stage mainly relying on technology progress but not material extension；the improvement of the quality of labor and land and the development of the market-oriented system of agriculture are the keys to increase the whole agriculture technological progress in Zhejiang province．
