Abstract: A soil cultural pot experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of dissolved organic matter (manure, humic acid and malic acid) on the degradation of oxytetracycline in yellow soil. It was shown that whether the soil was sterilized or not, the degradation rate of oxytetracycline increased significantly and the half\|life period turned shorter obviously after the addition of dissolved organic matter. The first order kinetics equation well fitted the degradation processes of oxytetracycline with different concentrations of dissolved organic matter.
