Monosporascus cannonballus of melon and its research progress

Abstract

Abstract: Monosporascus cannonballus is one of most destructive diseases on cucurbit crops including melon, and become prominent in melon production worldwide. In this review, we concluded disease symptom, soilborne diseases, pathogenic features, disease cycle and control strategies of the Monosporascus cannonballus of melon. We also discussed briefly on the perspective for the future studies on Monosporascus cannonballus．
