Influence and countermeasure of climate changes on agricultural production inYangtze Delta

Abstract: Under the background of global warming,the mean annual temperature in Yangtze Delta region in China continuously increased,meanwhile,the occurrence and intensity of extreme weather events increased as well.Based on the characteristics and tendency of climate change combined with related data and reports,effects of climate changes on the growth and development of agricultural crops,the distribution structure of cropping system,the occurrence of diseases and insect pests and the coastal fishery production in Yangtze Delta region in China were analysed and discussed.Furthermore,the corresponding countermeasures were proposed to cope with the influence of chmate change,such as adjusting the empping system,developing water saving agriculture,carrying out the ecological agriculture,improving the disaster prediction level
and so on.
