Abstract: According to the measurement and comparison of phosphorous(P) contents in different depths of the paddy soil applied with different years (0 a, 5 a, 10 a) of spreading manure, the study clarified the characteristics of P accumulation and loss in the paddy soil under the influence of different manure. It was showed that P accumulated in the soil easily, most of which accumulated in the upper part of the 0-40 cm soil and infiltrated from the surface layer migration gradually. P content increased as the increasing of fertilization years. And with the increasing of P content, the capacity of soil phosphorus supply improved while the risk of release P to water increased as well. Therefore, in order to avoid the loss of P element in the soil and to mitigate agricultural pollution, it is necessary to suggest that 5 years should be considered as a continuous interval to apply manure.
