不同砧木与嫁接方式对甘薯开花结实的影响

Effect of different rootstocks and grafting methods on flowering and fruiting of sweetpotatoes

摘要: 甘薯属短日照植物,在中国北方由于光照时间长,绝大多数品种不能自然开花。为克服这一障碍,甘薯育种工作者们通常采用嫁接和短日照处理相结合的方法促进甘薯开花结实。本研究用3种嫁接砧木、2种嫁接方式和2种日照处理方法,研究不同砧木和嫁接方式与甘薯接穗的亲和性及其对甘薯开花结实性的影响。结果表明,以甘薯二倍体野生种Ipomoea crassicaulis作为嫁接砧木的应用效果最好,不但具有广泛的亲和性,而且可以显著促进甘薯接穗的开花结实,从而节省育种成本,提高育种效率。

Abstract: As a short\|day plant, most of sweetpotato varieties cant naturally bloom in northern area of China under the long time light. In order to overcome this obstacle, a combination method of grafted and short\|day treatment was usually used to promote the sweetpotato flowering and fruiting. In this study, three different rootstocks, two grafting methods and two sun light treatments were used to study the affinity of different rootstocks and grafting methods and the impact on sweetpotato flowering and fruiting. The results showed that the sweetpotato diploid wild species (Ipomoea crassicaulis) was the best rootstocks, which not only had a wide range of affinity, but also can significantly improve the flowering and fruiting of sweetpotatos. Thus it can save the cost of breeding and improve breeding efficiency.
