Assessment on quality and safety of the vegetables in Zhejiang market based on AHP

Abstract

Abstract:

The main heavy metal contents and pesticide residues in 10 kinds of vegetables for sell in 11 prefecture cities of Zhejiang Province were monitored and evaluated. The comprehensive pollution index of different kinds of vegetable and different subregion markets was figured out by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP).The results showed as followed: safe level of different kinds of vegetables from high to low was: cabbage> water bamboo> cucumber> tomato> towel gourd > leek> Chinese cabbage> celery > cowpea >eggplant；safe level of vegetables in different subregions from high to low was：Hangzhou>Jinhua>Shaoxing> Wenzhou>Taizhou>Lishui> Zhoushan>Quzhou> Huzhou> Jiaxing > Ningbo．
