Abstract: The changes of soil nutrition status in Zhejiang province were studied through the investigation of field capacity of four diferent type soils(blue clayey paddy soil，silt-clayey yellow mottled paddy soil on fluvimarine deposit，paddy field on
redeposit of red soil and diluvial gitty loamy paddy soil)in 2008，combined with the soil nutrition census data acquired from the Second National Soil Survey．The results showed that soil pH decreased obviously，which was in need of adjustment．The level of soil organic matter was higher without significant changes．The content of available-P markedly increased，and there were great diferences among diferent soil types．The content of available-K increased significantly as well，but the K-deficiency Was still very common in farmlands．
