Abstract: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of low temperature and isoproturon with different concentrations on the physiological and biochemical characteristics of wheat in tillering stage. Dianmai 11-04 was treated with 0,3.0,6.0,9.0 g·L-1 isoproturon, and SOD activity, POD activity, soluble protein content, MDA content, proline content, relative electric conductivity, and O.2 producing rate were determined. The results showed that wheat was more injured with the increasing of isoproturon concentration and the decreasing of temperature, and the physiological injury of wheat caused by isoproturon led to the increasing of membrane permeability and decreasing of SOD activity.

Key words: wheat, isoproturon, physiological and biochemical characteristics
