Abstract: Three different kinds of plastic films were used in orange orchard of citrus variety Bendizao. Light reflection of the lower part of tree crown and fruit quality were detected. Results showed that light reflection ratio of orange orchard was increased when cover by plastic film. Color change of orange peel was promoted, especially the fruits in the lower part under three plastic films. Soluble solids content, total sugar content, vitamin C content, reducing sugar content and sucrose content were increased under three plastic films compared to the control group. According to this paper, Japanese film and tyveck mulching has shown more effective on improving the fruit quality of Bendizao.
