Research progress of the application of glucagon\|like peptide\|2 on piglets and its half\|time prolongation strategy

Abstract

Abstract: The injury of intestinal morphology and configuration induced by the weaning stress will cause diarrhea and growth cessation， which do harm to the health of piglets. Glucagon\|like peptide\|2 is an incretin gastrointestinal hormone， plays an important role in growth and restoration of intestines. This review summarized glucagon\|like peptide\|2 from anabolism， the therapeutic effects on intestinal injure of piglets and the half\|time prolongation strategy. The purpose of this paper is to provide references for further application of glucagon\|like peptide\|2 in weaning piglets.
